The story of our church is a story of people following Jesus. Trusting God's leading has marked our house since Aaron and Jossie Stern and their four boys (Parker, Cohen, Brooks, and Smith) moved to Fort Collins in 2011. They knew no one, yet carried a vision to see a church wholeheartedly love God, follow the way of Jesus, and serve Northern Colorado. Since our first gathering on February 26, 2012, more than 1000 people have surrendered their lives to Jesus, and we have added gatherings to accommodate growth. It is a privilege to see Jesus build His church (Matthew 16:18) through Mill City. We believe the story is still unfolding because we have a city and a region of people who are yet to experience the life-giving message of Jesus.

We are grateful for the story of hope God has written and continues to write at Mill City Church. We welcome you to find your place in this story - His story.

Our Name

In a wheat mill, a stalk of wheat enters, is transformed, and thus made useful to become other things. Likewise, the Church is a place where people enter the community of faith and through interactions within it (with Jesus and others), are transformed, and thus bless our region and the world.

Our Vision

We are all about encountering Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and doing what Jesus did, so that Northern Colorado looks more like heaven.

This statement is derived from the words of Jesus in the Greatest Commandment and the Great Commission.

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 22:37-39

"Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in there name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'" Matthew 28:18-20

We believe the three statements in our vision not only characterize the essential steps in each person's spiritual journey, but they also reflect the ongoing experiences in the life of every Jesus follower.
