What Forms Us.
We believe that God is looking to form and shape us into maturity. We know that through trials we are shaped more into the likeness of God. God is constantly at work in our lives helping us become all He has created us to be.
In our formation we:
Just like a tree needs certain conditions to become what it is designed to become (sunlight, oxygen, water, nutrients from soil), so we as Christs' followers need certain conditions to become who and what we are designed to become.
We are God’s handiwork, uniquely created to do good. He takes pleasure in seeing us flourish, thrive, and be fruitful. When we fully engage in conditions for our growth, Jesus receives the glory, people are loved well, and we are positioned to become more than we could ever be on our own.
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. 2 Peter 3:18
